My parents came from a small place just outside Rotterdam, Netherlands called Pernis. My mother is the lady in the front row on the left and my father is the only male in the picture (lucky guy). I'm guessing that this picture is before WWII as both were born in 1918 and look to be fairly young in this shot. My grandfather (on my father's side) had very large garden's and greenhouses and many of the young people of the area were employed there during certain times of the year. This looks like they are taking a break or are on there way to another field perhaps. It certainly looks like good times.
